This finish is popular with restaurants and showrooms as it is ready to walk on as soon as the process is completed which minimizes the time a business is closed for renovation, so that you can be back to business as usual as quickly as possible.
The Restaurant below needed to re-open ready for service in 2 days. They needed a hygienic floor solution that reduced maintenance and is quick & easy to clean.
To minimize disruption time we Polished the concrete to 400 gritt giving a low sheen Satin finish.
The Polished Concrete floor has significantly reduced cleaning time for the Restaurant whilst giving the space an updated fresh contemporary look with minimal disruption and cost.

Residential Homes - Polished Concrete - Matte & Satin finish
The Satin or Matte finish is an amazing look that is fantastic in residential properties too.
In the Galaxy "Polished Concrete" project photo's below, the concrete has been ground and then polished to
200 or 400 Gritt leaving a low sheen Matte or Satin finish.
A penetrating sealing is applied during the process which strengthens the concrete, the concrete does not have a top coat sealer so there is no re-application or re-sealing required in the future.

In the project below you can see in the BEFORE picture (image 4) a concrete floor that was coated with a low grade sealer which had tarnished & browned over time - we removed the sealer by grinding the concrete and then Polished the Concrete to a Matte finish which has given the concrete new life updating & transforming the floors to brighten up the space with a fresh clean new look.
